I took this photo because a lot of people said that I show my sister in a way children shouldn't be shown.
I don't think so. I think that my portraits of her are very tenderly and sensitive. they reflect her different sides and document the interesting time that she experiences right now. the time while she still plays with her toys but also asks me what kind of mascara she should buy.
so I made this photo to show that I don't masquerade my sister in the photos we make togehter.
in this shot I masqueraded her consciously to show the difference between a provocative and a sensitive photo.

i'm so incredibly in love with ALL of the photos of your sister. don't listen to those that say you depict her in a way you shouldn't. they're phenomenal, and by no means out of line. <3
i totally agree with you, those earlier photos were tender, as you put it, and sweet. i like this one too, but those others see so much more real, and expository.
